Today, as it pours rain outside, I am doing my best impersonation of a cook and cranking out supper recipes (and even a dessert!) to heap onto my kitchen table for my family's eating pleasure. While it is not my favourite way to spend the day, it is oddly cmforting to plan ahead and know dinner hour won't be a mad scramble.
