New friends I am truly thankful for...

Well, I am back home in front of my computer, with high-speed internet, and some new inspiration. I finally have access to my e-mail and when I checked it, I found to my delight that I am one of the winners of Julie's giveaway over at Janes Apron!! I am so excited, because anyone who knows me knows I never win anything!! Have a look at her beautiful site and the goodies I won....just don't be jealous of me!!

Next, I caught up with reading my own comments on my blog. I want you all to know how much I truly appreciate them all. It is so exciting to check in and see new comments. It's like having friends reach out to you and say Hi. It is also a great way for me to discover some great new blogs...so much fun! Today, I got an extra special comment from Andrea at True Southern Heart. I have been a fan of her blog for some time and she is one of my favourites. Well, lo and behold, she did a post in my honour today!! All about PINK!! Pink houses, pink flowering trees, all from her beautiful part of the country. You have to have a look, as I never knew a pink house could look that good...

I also wanted to ask anyone interested in letting me know what decorating topics they would like touched upon. I have a few posts in the works, but if anyone has some inspiration for me, I'd love to hear it!! I'll post a new one tomorrow morning, and then get back on track!

Hope everyone is having a great summer...we're headed back into the rainy weather...four days of it...I think maybe I'm the raincloud!!
